About Me
I started training as a driving instructor in 2003 and eventually qualified and worked with a national driving school covering North & East London. After a few years I moved to Kent and continued for another few years then moved again this time to the east coast of Lowestoft where I continue to teach pupils to this day.
I continued with the national driving school all in all for six years but then decided to go independent and in 2011 formed my own school Drivebug.
Over the last 9 years Drivebug has grown and become a very popular and busy school covering the main towns of Lowestoft, Great Yarmouth and surrounding areas. I’d like to think that the driving school has built it’s reputation on a good level of training and customer support providing an excellent and trustworthy service.
After 15 years as an ADI (Approved Driving Instructor) I still continue to enjoy my job immensely and love the idea of giving something to someone. The gift of teaching someone to drive is a priceless.
In October 2019 I won the Intelligent Instructor ‘Instructor of the Year 2019 for East of England’ to which I was overwhelmed with! - It made me realise that all the hard work really does pay off!
I’m now in the process of training others to become Driving Instructors to deal with the ever increasing number of pupils wanting to learn to drive.
